If you’re looking to explore local farms this Labor Day Monday, load up a picnic basket and pack the car for a road trip to Charlottesville and Albemarle County, Virginia for the 4th annual Meet Yer Eats Farm Tour!All you have to do is purchase a car pass (just $15 in advance and admits everyone in the vehicle) and then start planning your trip! A grand total of 21 farms are hosting this year, including members of Charlottesville’s Local Food Hub. You can visit anytime between 10am and 4pm. Plan a picnic along the way, and don’t forget your cooler and some cash — most farms will be offering on-farm sales that day.
