Peach Sangria
Here’s a refreshing drink for a warm summer evening that I came up with, and an easy way to use your end of summer peaches. It works well even with those that are a bit pruny and been in your fridge a bit long. – Amanda
Peel and cut into small chunks five or six peaches, placing in a small pitcher. Fill pitcher with Pinot Grigio or other white wine of your choice. If using a drier wine add one or two spoonfuls of sugar to taste. Stir all, mashing some of the peach slices to release their flavor. Chill until ready to serve. Pour into glasses with a few cubes of ice, spooning out some of the fruit. This is even better after chilling overnight, when the peaches absorb the wine and vice versa.
